Oath Taking with Chief Justice Reynato Puno

I was the newly elected Auditor of the ALSP-NCR held somewhere in Manila. The new set of officers of the Association of Law Students of the Philippines (ALSP) had their oath taking in the Supreme Court before the Chief Justice Reynato Puno. But Prior to that, the officers met in the Moot Court Room of University of Santo Tomas. When the newly elected officers from the National Board, the Regional and the NCR officers met, we talked about upcoming events and other matters, then proceeded in the Supreme Court.

In the SC, I was overwhelmed and excited because it was my first time there and much more, meeting Chief Justice Puno. Before the said oath, we grab the opportunity to roam around and took photos with the surroundings. When Chief Justice arrived and had our oath, we requested to have a per school photos with him, and he agreed. I even joked that PUP should go first, and i was surprised that Chief Justice concurred and he even mentioned that he is an alumnus of PUP, and I wondered… is he a graduate of PUP? but he immediately continued that he was given a Honorable Recognition by PUP, that’s why. And there, Rofylyn and I had our precious photos with the Philippines’ Chief Justice.

Right after the Oath taking, we were supposed to meet Senator Chiz Escudero in his office, but then, i still have a class to attend to later that day so decided not to join them in their visit. I hope my next to the Supreme Court is for my Oath Taking as a Lawyer… yahoooo!
