In my 2nd week of my rest day after the bar exam, my 2nd destination for relaxation was in Enchanted Kingdom.  It was years since my last visit in Enchanted Kingdom. Looking back, my first visit was fun even though with some disaster… my brothers and I were stuck in space shuttle and was left there hanging for almost an hour.

My second visit happened to be the anniversary of Enchanted Kingdom. What can I say, Enchanted Kingdom is no longer enchanting! The place and the experience will be great on your first visit, but it will be a big disappointment on your subsequent visit. Well, if you are a kid, maybe it will make no difference.

After the long line waiting in the entrance, everything inside the kingdom will still be falling in line. There was no new ride, no new event, and even no new experience! Even the paints on the walls, infrastructure and buildings were old! It was like the same paint when Enchanted Kingdom first opened in the public way back so many years ago!

So, what happened when I was there? Well, same as before… same rides… but different disaster! hehehe… during the firework display, while looking up the sky watching, some fragments or whatever that was from the firecrackers, fell straight into my left eye. Lucky for me (i guess) a first aid crew was behind me, and he immediately rush me to the clinic and washed out the fragments. It was good to know that I was not in any serious condition.

I just hope that in years to come, Enchanted Kingdom will open a new and exciting new rides and other events that not only kids will enjoy, but as well as the adults…

Looking back in my previous posts about Boracay Beach Resorts, I finally witnessed how beautiful Boracay beaches are!

Although I did not stay in the most expensive hotel, I still enjoyed my stay in Boracay Beaches!

I had my many firsts in my trip to boracay…. my first time in Boracay Island/beach, my first time to fly, my first time to get deaf (literally)

It was October 15, 2009. We were supposed to board the plane around 730 am, but due to multiple delayed totaling to almost 6 hours, we finally left Manila.

My first air plane experience was memorable even though it was not with Philippine Airline or Cebu Pacific, still, it was a moment to be treasured.

Now that I’ve been in Boracay, witnessing the magnificent beauty, the sands, the waves, I doubt if I will be ever satisfied when I will be in other beaches in the Philippines. I am not a beach person, but i really enjoyed the days that i was in the water…

My friends and I did ride the ATV (All terrain Vehicle), where my friend “Hero” had an accident, he fell on the terrain, thanks God that the injuries were not serious…

We did some island hopping and went diving to see the corals… it was overwhelming!

At night, Party seemed to be endless… Bar hopping, party here, party there… Drink here, drink that… I love it!

Another friend celebrated his birthday in Boracay…
after the 4 days and 3 nights stay in Boracay, we finally went back in Manila.

I’m not getting any younger. though i feels like im only 21, but i have to accept the fact that i’m already 26… even though i look like 18.. hahahhah :D

Pay the prize of being friendly and lovable… hahahah… I have to celebrate my birthday not just once, not twice but three times! I had a pre-birthday celebration last February 21 in Lancaster Suites in Shaw Boulevard… I celebrated my birthday together with two other birthday celebrants, Sis Mean and Brod. Franck, my brod and sis in the Fraternity. A couple of brods and sis in the fraternity came and even our already Lawyer sis came.

I came early in the Hotel, room 3100, because I was told that i have to help out in the cooking, but it turned out that we just have to buy food outside. It was hard to decide what to buy or what to eat, until I was sooo hungry already. We just bought some food in Goldilocks and Red Ribbon then went back in the hotel.

After eating, its time to sing our lungs out! hehehhehe…. while doing so, we were drinking as usual. I can’t remember the last time I drank a hard liquor, and i can’t remember the last time i was slightly intoxicated.. hehhehhehe.. i admit, i missed that kind of feeling… hahahhaah.

We chatted and even asked advise from Attorney Rochelle about the bar exam, for preparations and other stuffs. Too bad, i had to go home early… I was having fun.

I went home in Bulacan that sunday, I was supposed to ask our Maid to prepare something to eat to share with my siblings. But then i came home late, so it did not prosper. My Diko (older brother) was not at home and even my Sister, so I went to my eldest brother’s house and stayed there. And we decided to bet in the lottery.

It was my first time to Bet in the lottery. The queue was long that we have to wait for a few minutes to have our turn to bet. I didn’t know what to do. I was just supposed to bet in one combination, but then I forgot to void the rest of the slot, so i paid a total of 4 combinations. I didn’t expect to win the lottery, but it will be sooo nice if i did. NOt bad for a first timer, But i was able to get 3 of 6 combinations. how much was that worth? I think it’s 120? hehehheeh

My birthday came, February 24. Of course I have to celebrate it again. I had dinner in Crocodile Grill in Greenbelt together with some special friend/s. And while waiting for the 8:30 showing of the movie, we stayed and played for a while in Timezone. We watched “Confession of a Shopaholic” . The movie was not bad at all, though not that good also, but it was entertaining :D

after watching… we were supposed to go to another set of friends in Legarda, Manila, but unfortunately I had to postponed it because one of my friend was confined in the hospital and he requested that i should drop by when he is already discharged.

I came home early around 11:00pm, and prepared my things.

There was a post birthday celebration that weekend with another set of friends, rolly and bon. We just had coffee at starbucks and had a few drinks in Club Indios Resto BAr. I was fun. I went home around 5am.

Seeing a movie once in a while is enough to relieve my self from those monotonous routine of mine. I prefer watching movies on Last full show (LFS), maybe because i allocate my daytime in my reviewing, and night time is the time to relax… isn’t it? heheheh… and another reason is that in LFS, i don’t fill the rush, the intense or being anxious of going home and read again, all I know is that, right after the movie, I’ll go home and rest my ass out and feel the warmth of my bed.

I am having hesitations in divulging this informations because i know that my brother always read my blog, and he will eventually find out that I go out and go home late night and been somewhere unfamiliar to him, and probably relay the same to my mom. I can already hear them say that “mag aral ka, hindi puro lakawatsa” hahahaha… excusez-moi! im studying everyday, from morning until midnight or past midnight (sometimes), give me time to relax, ok? i need it. Its a pamper to look forward to, after a week of dedication – a consolation for my self. here it goes… its been a habit now of watching movies in Eastwood Movie House, not because its a place where “sosyal” people go, but its the place where my friends wanted to watch. I can’t blame them, it is indeed comfortable watching there, not to mention that there are lots of stunning, striking, goodlooking, dazzling people there, hahaha…

When I watched the movie “The Curious case of Benjamin Button” starring Brad PItt, a two and a half grueling hour movie. I think it was almost 2am when i arrived home after that movie. Thats when I saw Sunshine Dizon and Ms. Angelica Panganiban who was so angelic and so pretty in person, though she was not that tall. The movie was great, however, i was bothered because i was controlling my self not to to go to comfort room. It was so cold and i forgot to bring my jacket, nature was calling me, hahahha…

then, last weekend, I had the chance to watch “Underworld: Rise of the Lycans” – this is not your Kate Beckinsale and Scott Speedman’s Underwolrd, though i thought that time it was their’s, that’s why i decided to watch it instead of Jim Carey’s “Yes Man” and the Chick Flick “Bride Wars” . It was entertaining, but it was not that good. If you already seen, the original underworld, you already know whats going to happen in the part 3. Not really your money’s worth. just go buy a DVD in quiapo, hahahhaa… Anyway, Actor Polo Ravales and other commercial model-turned actor was there too, but i dont know his name… hehehheh

YES! its videoke / karaoke night once again… ! The Videoke King is here! hhahah

A couple of friends met up in Red Box in Greenbelt last friday for a little unwind from the toxic and stressful work and school stuffs. Daisy, Rolly and I were the last one to arrived in Red Box after we saw each other in Megamall and waited for a taxi for a couple of minutes. when we arrived, the rest of the gang was already there.

I cannot count how many song i sang, but not that much, only those songs that i more familiar with and notes that i can reach… It was fun, I sang the songs that were playing even though it were not time. And there were lots of incidents that i cheated of jumping the songs that i entered so that my song will be the next in the playlist and cut short the waiting time for my turn… hahahah :D

I think I had three (3) San Mig Lights and those of Rolly’s who, again, cheated on giving to me his bottle of beer.

It was my first time in RedBox, and what can i say, all were expensive, the Room, food, drinks etc… I dunno if that’s because we were in Greenbelt, and if the charges and costs are different in RedBox Trinoma or in some other place. It costs Php 400.00 per person, we were nine (9), excluding the refreshments. You do the math. Anyway, I hardly ever go out, and i had fun, I will not mind the expenses afterwards, after a few days I will no longer think about it. Do you want to see a sample of me singing? hehehe… if you like to, juts leave a message, hahhaa.. make a request.. hahaha

Say That You Love Me

When our reservation come to an end, they decided to have a coffee afterwards. We were supposed to go to Starbucks not that they love the coffee or frappes there, but mainly because of the stickers they are accumulating in exchange for the 2009 Starbucks Organizer. Too bad for them, Starbucks were jam-packed! There was no available place for all of us. So, we decided to go to The Coffee Bean, where the coffee and frappes are way better than those of Starbucks.

Because I love chocolate so much, I ordered iced blended double chocolate, and stupid me, i forgot that i have alcohol circulating in my body and i was having Chocolate with milk… You probably guessed the result. My stomach was not feeling well, my mind is telling me to throw up but i cannot, not at that time, and i even felt that i had to go to the restroom but not that intense. And i waited until i arrived home and forced my self to puke, indeed, i felt much better.. hehheeh

It was a sunny tuesday, the day i was supposed to enroll for the second semester in University of the Philippines Law Center for my Advance Review for the Bar Exams. But unfortunately, the cashier told me that they are no longer accepting personal checks as payment for any fees as per memorandum by the UP Administration. So, i was not able to enroll that day, i don’t have sufficient cash with me even if i will withdraw my remaining allowance. I decided to go back the next day right after i encashed the check of my brother Nelson in China Bank in Globe Telecom Plaza I.

The next day, I went in China Bank in Globe Telecom Plaza and encashed the cheque and then proceeded In University of the Philippines right after i had my lunch in KFC in Gateway Mall in Cubao. I was able to enrolled that day and received my Identification Card as well as the Review Materials that were already distributed to the reviewees. Tomorrow will be my first day to attend the class, and it will last until March of 2009.

after enrollment, I was supposed to go to my fraternity brod together with my other brods, but then i decided to just stay at home and study for my final examination in Taxation this coming sunday.

Stone Massage, Thai Massage, Massage Therapy

After the frustrating and exhausting Exam in Commercial Law, I just wanted to relax and remove the stress in me. Its good that my class in taxation was canceled, so i decided to take a sleep after the exam. Before I went home in Bulacan, I decided to have a relaxing massage. I went to Massage King in SM and had a whole body massage.

It was my first time to have a massage and I really don’t know what to expect. I was hesitant at first, When I approached the receptionist and after conveying to her what I prefer, she explained to me that it is a combination of Swedish and shiatsu massage with aromatic oil. At first my plan was just to have a half body massage, but then she said its just 30 minutes, so i just had a whole body instead, anyway there’s not much a difference between the price of the two services (half and full body massage) .

Its a good thing that I was wearing a boxer shorts that time instead of brief, because i was made to strip and just wear the boxer that they provided. It was not a private room, but instead there are others who are in there also. I was a little bit shy because half of my buttock was exposed during the start of the massage, and there was a tingling sensation when the masseur was doing my upper body and feet.

After an hour of massage, i felt relaxed. For 325 pesos, it’s not bad at all. I should do this more often.

Kristine (tin-tin) and I saw each other in Powerbooks, and as usual, Marvin (a.k.a Bentot)was late again…

We had difficulty deciding where to eat and finally, after a long argument between Bentot and Tin-tin, they finally came to an agreement that we will have our dinner in Sbarro and then Marvin will treat us in Seattle’s Best for a coffee.

As what friends do when they see each other again after a long period of time,we chatted, tell stories about anything and teased each other. Picture taking took part after eating dinner and even making fun of the person behind Marvin. We proceeded in Seattle’s Best for a Frap, there we continued chatting, and even met up Marvin’s personal friend and introduced the same to us.

Since they still have work the next day, we went home early around 10:30 in the evening.
