Dream Job

Ever since I was in law school it is a dream of mine to work at the Office of the Solicitor General (OSG), and that dream amplified when I passed the Bar examination last 2010.

Sometime on July 2011, I decided to submit a job application at the OSG hoping that i will get through despite the politics in the selection process. A few months after, or on September 2011, I received a call from the OSG Human Resource Department informing me that i was short listed and inviting me for an examination. It was not an ordinary exam. It was an actual case pending before the Supreme Court and we are ask to make our on Memorandum. I admit it was not easy. The candidates were given the whole day to make the Memorandum. I had a difficult time doing my research with books, and the internet connection was slow and intermittent. At the end of the day, I knew I failed to make a good argument in my Memorandum. But still, I was still hoping that they will find something in my Memorandum worthy of a panel interview with the Assistant Solicitor Generals. Year 2011 passed, and I haven’t heard anything from OSG.

When I almost lost hope, sometime on January 27, 2012, HR called me again and informed me that I’am included in the shortlisted applicants to undergo panel interview on February 2, 2012.

Collectors’ Item

It would be nice to collect somethings that in the near future would be worth something. And if you found one, it would be a great collectors’ item. Take for instance the 1927 silver dollar. It may cost so little back in 1927, but to this date, it may worth so much higher. That is why i think and I suppose this makes this an interesting collector item. Take a look at this 1927 silver dollar, and from there, collect some more.

You may hear everyday about the term Wii. But what is a Wii?
Simply put, it is new gaming system. It has motion sensing controllers. It is cheep and fun. Wii is a virtulat controling system.
A distinguishing feature of the console is its wireless controller, the Wii Remote controller, which can be used as a handheld pointing device and detects movement in three dimensions.
The Wii Remote is the primary controller for the console. It uses a combination of built-in accelerometers and infrared detection to sense its position in 3D space when pointed at the LEDs within the Sensor Bar. This design allows users to control the game using physical gestures as well as traditional button presses.
