I am still hoping to be a part of the biggest law firm in the Philippines – the Office of the Solicitor General.
The Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) occupies an exalted place in Philippine history. Not only has the OSG contributed some of the finest minds in the legal firmament–the Judiciary included–it has trodden hitherto unexplored grounds and helped unravel new vistas in the ever imperfect science called the Law.
Long and rested week end, that is how i can describe my weekend. I spent 2 nights and 2 days in my home town in Nozagaray Bulacan, my longest stay so far for this year (i think so). I slept for ten hours, ate lunch and slept again for another 2 to 3 hours. My long stay in bulacan was my leverage for my mom for my vacation on the next long weekend.
Looking forward and excited for my employment interview with the BIR. I think working as corporate attorney in a GOCC for eleven (11) months is enough experience.
It is a good thing if i will make it in the BIR. I can use my accounting and taxation knowledge other than my law degree. Thy will be done. BTW, my interview is on October 16, 2012.
They say that if an opportunity knocks at your door, you should open and accept it. I believe that everything happen for a reason. I received a call if i would like to a work in a private subsidiary company under a big parent company. Why not, i’ll ask for the perks, and if it is okay, i will accept it.
I was in the Pasay RTC few minutes ago for my Motion for execution hearing, attached therewith is the certification from the CA that they remanded the records to the Branch 109. Unfortunately, when my case was called, i was informed that they haven’t receive the records yet. Thus, the judge didn’t resolve my motion. The judge suggested that i should follow it up to the CA. That’s life.
